STRIPPED! -- SWEET BREAMS' 6TH GROUP ART SHOW

There is this sweet little place that offers an incredible dessert. Bite sized waffles in the shape of fish, filled with nutella or the flavor of the week. Along with addicting mouth fulls of sweetness the walls are decorated by wonderful art work. Every month the art work displayed is for sale and every gallery has a different theme. The upcoming show is STRIPPED, a comic book theme. I'm so excited to be part of the this next show because I'm a fan of the art work and the desserts. This little hot spot is one of my all time favorites!

The Bay Area's twin passions, Food and Art, come together in Delicious, our annual show of work inspired by food and drink. This year's show--our sixth!--is bigger and better than ever: over 100 local artists bring their talents to the party. There's something for every appetite: lovely views of farms and Wine Country vineyards, terrific still lifes, scenes of local eateries and bars, even desserts to satisfy that sweet tooth. Each time we do the show there are themes that emerge: this year there's a lot of red, a lot of smaller, affordable pieces, fewer vegetables and more junk food. But if pressed, we would have to dub 2010 The Year of Bacon: the show has a number of witty depictions of that favorite cured meat product.

Can't wait for my next exhibit with STUDIO gallery. My 4 pieces "Queen of Diamonds", "She's Got a Gun", "Powder" cause that's the best kind of snow, and "Seahorse" are going to be there.

BackYard Gallery show day

Thanks to Tyler & Janel, the BackYard Gallery show as a great success! With their great vision and entrepreneurship, I believe they have started a cool new venue for bay area artists to showcase their art. They've even got a press release out, you can read at this link. I look forward to more shows in the future.

I'm Very excited to say the Butterfly piece sold! The day was perfect with sunshine, great art, and free drinks. Thanks to all the artists who made this event happen. And special thanks to my friends for being so supportive and pushing me to do my thang... you guys are the best! :)
