A Silent Art Auction Benefit for Joey Adams
Animation Guild, 1105 No Hollywood Way, Burbank
Reposting!
As some of you already know, Wildbrain Storyboard Artist Joey Adams has 16-month old twin boys that are facing critical health issues. In an effort to help raise the funds necessary to provide medical care for these two young boys, Bento Box is sponsoring a silent art auction to benefit Joey and his family.
Thursday April 5, 2012 at the Animation Guild, 1105 N. Hollywood Way, Burbank, CA 91505.
Storyboard artist Joey Adams, is going through the unthinkable. After losing his 16 month-old daughter to an unknown ailment in 2009, his toddler twin boys also came down with similar life-threatening symptoms this past Christmas. The family does not have Motion Picture insurance yet, so the financial burden is ever-mounting, due to ongoing genetic testing, chemo treatments, and Ian's eventual bone marrow transplant.
Bento Box is collecting artwork, with many top artists in the industry participating. If you would like to contribute animation drawings, paintings, cels (remember those!) or any other artwork to the event, please contact Teri Shikasho at: shikasho@earthlink.net or (626)710-2496. The Bento Box sponsored event will be held at The Animation Guild (upstairs) from 7pm-9:30pm where drinks and appetizers will be served.
All are welcome, and please spread the word
